Day by Day ItineraryDay 1 Arrive in LhasaArrive Lhasa by flight or train. You'll be met by your local guide at the airport / train station and be transferred to the hotel. Have a good rest to adjust your body to a height of 12,000 feet above sea level.

Spend a full day exploring the mysteries of this sacred land at the “roof of the world”. Tibet's unique branch of Buddhism has always permeated its everyday life - you'll visit Potala Palace, a towering 1,000 room structure and former living quarters of the Dalai Lama; Sera Monastery with its breathtaking views of Potala Palace and Lhasa valley. You will also visit Jokhang Temple, Tibet’s oldest and most holy spiritual centre located in the city core. Then you'll have time to explore the Bakor Street. (B)
