Day by Day ItineraryDay 01 Arriving BeijingArrive in Beijing, the Capital of China and home to many wonders. To be met at the airport then transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the first day.

Attractions:Day 02 BeijingToday, you will initially visit the Tian’anmen Square, reputed as the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. Then visit the Forbidden City, renowned as the largest preserved ancient architectural complex in China and the world at large. After lunch, you will visit the Summer Palace, which is the largest existing imperial grand garden in China. You will also go to visit a famous pearl factory. Beijing Roasted Duck will be served tonight. A bus tour to experience Beijing by night. (B/L/SD)

Attractions: Forbidden City Summer Palace Tian'anmen SquareDay 03 Beijing / LanzhouTake an early flight to Lanzhou. Met by your local guide at the airport. Upon arrival, visit the White Pagoda Hill, which connects the undulating mountains giving an imposing view of nestling the Jingcheng city.; Zhongshan Iron Bridge, which was built in the Qing Dynasty and renowned as the "first bridge on the Yellow River under the heaven". Attractions: White Pagoda MountainDay 04 Lanzhou ~ Xiahe (180km)After breakfast, transfer to Xiahe. On the way, you will enjoy the culture of Hui Ethnic Group; also take a visit to Labrang Monastery. It’s one of the major monasteries of the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect. The architectural layout follows the Tibetan style, while the construction patterns are mostly Tibetan, Han, or a mixture of the two. Overstay in Xiahe. (B/L/D)

Attractions:Day 05 Xiahe ~ Xining (290km)Take coach to visit Liujiaxia Gorge. Liujiaxia Dam is a major dam on the upper Yellow River. Attractions:Day 06 Xining ~ Qinghai Lake ~ Xining (151km)Today visit Taer Temple, is one of the six temples of the Gelug Sect of Tibetan Buddhism; also visit Sun & Moon Mt on the way to Qinghai Lake. Upon arrival, visit Qinghai Lake and take boat there. Qinghai Lake is a blue mirror nestled between snowy mountains and grasslands. Measuring 4,400 square kilometres, it is the largest inland saltwater lake in China. Transfer back to Xining in the late afternoon. (B/L/D)

Then proceed to Jiayuguan Great Wall. It is the western end of the Great Wall of the Ming Dynasty as well as the most magnificent and best-preserved pass among the over thousand passes along the Ming Great Wall. Overstay in Jiayuguan. Attractions: Jiayuguan Pass Giant Buddha TempleDay 09 Jiayuguan ~ Dunhuang (380km)Take coach to Dunhuang in the morning. Upon arrival, visit the Crescent Lake & Echoing-Sand Mountain. Crescent Moon Spring is 6km south of Dunhuang in the Singing Sands Mountains and is quite literally an oasis in the desert. The spring's name derives from the crescent moon shape taken by the small pool of spring water between two large sand dunes. Although the area is very dry, the pool doesn't dry up as one might expect. (B/L/D)

Attractions: Echoing-Sand Dunes Crescent LakeDay 10 Dunhuang ~ TurpanToday visit Mogao Grottoes, which is constructed over a millennium, from the 4th to the 14th centuries, the caves hold the world's richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures; and Yangguan Site which was a vital strategic point one had to pass through when he traveled westward from Dunhuang to follow the southern route of the Silk Road in Central Asia. Attractions: Mogao GrottoesDay 11 TurpanArrive Turpan in the early morning, transfer to the hotel. Then you will visit Gaochang Ruins. The city's name means'the King City'. It was an important point on the Silk Road; Astana Tombs, thousands of treasure historical relics had been unearthed and it was called the "Gaochang's live history record and underground museum in the Turpan area." The Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves , which is the rock-cut building with the most caves and frescos contents at most in Turpan area.It is located on the west cliffs of the Wood Valley of the Flame Mountain. Passing by The Flaming Mountains, which is the cradle of the Turpan ancient civilization and oasis agriculture. Eighty percent of the total natural landscapes and human landscapes in Turpan are located here; Visit Imin Minaret, which is an ancient Islamic pagoda; Karez Well, whose irrigation system of wells connected by underground channels is considered to be one of the three great ancient projects in China. Jiaohe Ruin, It was almost dig from natural ground and the tallest building reached three stories high, which is the biggest, oldest and best preserved construction city in the world; also visit Karezeand Grape Valley. With its shady vineyards and trees, this provides a welcome place of relaxation amidst the hundreds of square miles of sand. (B/L/D)
