Day 1 Arrive in Beijing
You will meet your local guide at airport and transfer to hotel. After check-in, you have free time to relax. Or take an optional excursion by rickshaw around Hutongs (narrow alleyways).

Day 2 Beijing
After breakfast visit the massive Tian'anmen Square, then see the Forbidden City with its elegant palaces, pavilions and landscaped gardens, once open only to nobility. Tour the 700-acre Summer Palace and view the scenery of its lake. Our local guide can help you plan your evening activities (optional). You can enjoy Kungfu or Peking Opera shows, or feast a roast duck dinner at famed Quanjude Restaurant, or enjoy nightlife at pubs and bars at Houhai or Gongti area. (B/L)

Day 3 Beijing
Today, ride to the legendary Great Wall of China and stand on its famous ramparts. A local lunch is included, along with a visit to a jade or cloisonné enamel workshop. Then tour the Chang Tomb which was the first and largest of the Ming Tombs. Drop off at Beijing Olympic Green on the way back to hotel. If time permits you can buy entrance tickets on-spot to go inside the stadiums of Bird’s Nest and Water Cube. (B/L)

Day 4 Board to Overnight Train (to Xi’an)
Free time in the morning and check-out before 12:00. In the afternoon tour the Temple of Heaven where the Oriental emperors worship the heaven. Then enjoy shopping at the famous Xiushui Market. After dinner board the train for Xi’an, with soft sleeper berth. (B/D)

Day 5 Xi’an
In early morning arrive at Xi’an, China’s legendary home of the Tang Dynasty from 618 to 907 A.D. After breakfast and check-in, tour Xian’s archaeological wonder: 8,000 life-sized Terracotta warriors buried with Emperor Qin Shi Huang, each soldier and horse molded in incredible detail. This afternoon, tour the majestic Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Shannxi Historical Museum. Today’s tour includes visit to a souvenir shop or factory. (B/L)

Day 6 Xi'an to Dunhuang
Free time in the morning and check-out before 12:00. Transfer to airport in the afternoon and fly to Dunhuang. Rest of the time is free on your own. You can visit the local night market for souvenirs or snacks. (B)

Day 7 Dunhuang to Overnight train
Visit the Mogao Grottoes, Constructed over a millennium, from the 4th to the 14th centuries, the caves hold the world's richest treasure house of Buddhist sutras, murals and sculptures. Then visit the Crescent Lake and Echoing-Sand Mountain. Soft sleeper berth to Turpan. (B+L)

Day 8 Overnight train to Turpan
Arrive at Turpan in the morning. Jiaohe Ruins, which was built by the old Cheshi people in Qin dynasty and Han dynasty. It was almost dig from natural ground and the tallest building reached three stories high, which is the biggest, oldest and best preserved earth construction city in the world. Then visit Tuyoq Village and Tuyugou Canyon, and Karez Irrigation Tunnels (Karez Wells).(B+L)

Day 9 Turpan to Urumqi
Drive about 2 hours to Urumqi. On the way visit the Bizaklik Thousand Buddha Caves, and pass through the Flaming Mountain. (B+L)

Day 10 Urumqi
Excursion to the Heavenly Lake with boat cruising, back to Urumqi and city, the Erdaoqiao Bazaar, Xinjiang Autonomous Museum. (B+L)

Day 11 Urumqi to Shanghai
Free time until transfer to airport and fly to Shanghai, China’s most modern metropolis. (B)

Day 12 Shanghai
View the Jade Buddha Temple. Continue to Yuyuan Garden, a 16th century Ming period private garden/residence in the heart of Shanghai’s old Chinese quarter. Along is the local bazaar around City God Temple. Visit the riverfront Bund district lined with banks and customs houses. A visit to carpet or tea shop is included today. Tonight you can take an optional acrobatics show or enjoy night life at Xintiandi or Hengshan Road. (B+L)

Day 13 Depart from Shanghai

Remarks
Participants of Join-in Group Tours
We guaranteed departures with even one person! In our join-in group tours with fixed departure dates, you will share tour guide and tour bus service with other participants. Participants and group size may be different in each city but usually no more than 18 travelers. Participants may come from all over the world. Usually most of them speak English. Our local guide will be speaking English during his/her service.
To meet every participant’s satisfaction to largest extent, local guide in each city will suggest optional sightseeing programs, special favor dinners or performance/show programs. These programs are not compulsive. You are on your own choice to buy them or not.
Bookings
Join-in group tours should be book at least 15 days prior to starting day of the tour. When you book please provide detailed information of your full names, passport numbers, telephone number, etc. The information must be correct, actual and valid. We will check availability for your required departing date. If your required tour is available we will then reply with confirmation details.
Cancellations and Refunds
We will charge you cancellation fee if you would like to cancel your tour after your booking is confirmed. Please see details as below:

Refund will be by the same means you pay. If you pay online or offline by credit card, refund will take at least one month. You can consult your bank for refund progress details.
Responsibility
We will arrange for you to receive the services that you choose and that we confirm. These services will be provided either directly by us or through independent suppliers contracted by us. We are responsible for making sure that each part of the tour you book with us is provided to a reasonable standard and as was advertised by us, or as changed and accepted by you.
The responsibility of us and its affiliated companies are strictly limited. We shall not be responsible for any wrongful or negligent acts, omissions, or failure to act of any suppliers such as those of surface, air, and water transportation, sightseeing excursions, cruise/hotel accommodations, or of any third party not directly owned or operated by us. If airline or Cruise Company change or cancel a flight/cruise, we will push the airline and cruise company to work out a solution, to change another flight/cruise for you. In this case we reserve the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities, or adjust the days in related cites but will ensure same arrival date in Beijing and same departing date in Shanghai. In either case, there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
By utilizing the travel services of the suppliers, you agree that you will look to such suppliers for any accident, injury, property damage, or personal loss to you or to those traveling with you, and that neither we nor any representative of us shall be liable.
We reserve the right to substitute hotels of similar quality at any time or to make changes in itinerary of similar quality, flights, or cruise ships.
Our local tour guides may arrange some souvenir shop visits during the tour. For every single group, local guide may adjust the shops described in the itinerary to meet the group members’ interest and demand. However, such visits will be strictly limited to only once in each city, unless extra shopping visits are required by group members.
Please understand that not all museums and attractions are open every day of the year. We reserve the right to vary the sequence of sightseeing and/or to re-route the order of cities if that will enable you to visit all listed excursions. In either case, the itinerary content will be maintained to the extent possible and there are no refunds for any unused or unavailable excursions.
