Day 01 Arrive in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing, the Capital of China and home to many wonders. To be met at the airport then transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the first day.

Day 02 Beijing
Today, you will initially visit the Tian'anmen Square, reputed as the biggest public square in the world, which can hold one million people. Then visit the Forbidden City, renowned as the largest preserved ancient architectural complex in China and the world at large. After lunch, you will visit the Summer Palace, which is the largest existing imperial grand garden in China. In the evening enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing. (B/L/SD)

Day 03 Beijing
After breakfast, you will visit the marvelous Great Wall at Badaling, the most outstanding representation of Great Wall. Proceed to one of the Ming tombs -- Chang Ling, the tomb of Emperor Yong Le (reign 1403-1424) and Empress Xu Shi, which is the largest and best preserved of the 13 Ming Tombs near Beijing. (B/L/D)

Day 04 Beijing / Xi'an
This morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, the most holy of Beijing's Imperial temples. This is where the Emperor came every winter solstice to worship heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest. Take an afternoon flight to Xi'an. Upon arrival, take a visit to the City Wall, the best preserved, as well as the oldest and largest of the city defense systems in China. (B/L/D)

Day 05 Xi'an
After breakfast, visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century. These 6,000 life-size painted Terracotta Warriors and Horses, individually sculpted from real-life models and arranged in battle formation, have been protecting the mausoleum of the first emperor in Chinese history -- Emperor QinShihuang since 2,200 years ago. Tonight enjoy a Xi'an Special Dumpling Banquet and the wonderful Tang Dynasty Show. (B/L/D)

Day 06 Xi'an / Yangtze River Cruise
This morning, you will visit the Mosque, an important cultural relic and a major spot for religious activities of over 60.000 Moslems in Xi'an. Take the afternoon flight to Yichang. After dinner, you will be welcomed to board the deluxe 5-Star President No. 1. (B/L/D)

Day 07 on the boat
In the early morning, the boat will pass though the Xiling Gorge, the longest one of the Three Gorges. Then you will have a shore excursion to the Worksite of the Three Gorges Project. Later on, pass though the 5-Steps Ship Locks. In the evening, Captain's Welcoming Banquet and Captain's Welcoming Dancing Party will be arranged. (B/L/SD)

Day 08 on the boat
Today you will have a boat excursion to Shennong Stream (or Lesser Three Gorges) in Wushan County. In the afternoon, the boat will take you to experience Wu Gorge, which is famous for its deep valleys and forest covered mountains, and then, Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the most dramatic one among the Three Gorges. Day 09 on the boat
In the morning, you will have a shore excursion to Fengdu. It's an ancient city and known as the Ghost city said to be the abode of devils. Tonight enjoy the Captain's Farewell Banquet and Talent Show Party. (B/L/SD)

Day 10 Arrive Chongqing / Lhasa
In the early morning, you will disembark at Chongqing. Visit the Zoo for a close look at the lovely Giant Panda. Take an afternoon flight to Lhasa, the capital of the mystical Buddhist Kingdom of Tibet. Be met and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure for your body to become acclimatized to the altitude. (B/L/D)

Day 11 Lhasa
This morning, first visit the amazing Potala Palace, the greatest monumental structure in Tibet and perched upon Marpo Ri Hill, 130 meters above the Lhasa Valley. Also visit Jokhang Temple, the spiritual center of Tibet. Afterwards, take a stroll along the Bakhor Street, the oldest street in Lhasa as well as the center of old Lhasa. Remaining very traditional, it is a place where Tibetan culture, economy, religion and arts are assembled. (B/L/D)

Day 12 Yamdroktso Lake
This morning, leave Lhasa to Yamdroktso Lake, one of the three holy lakes in Tibet, as well as a pilgrimage site for Tibetans. Then transfer back to Lhasa and enjoy a visit to Norbulinka Park. Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama at the beginning, and then served the whole governmental administration.

Day 13 Lhasa / Shanghai
Depart for your flight to Shanghai, China's largest city and seaport, also the capital of China's modern economy. Be met and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. (B/L/D)

Day 14 Shanghai
This morning, visit the Bund. Have a stroll along the waterfront to experience the smells, sights and sounds of the old "Wall Street" in Shanghai. You also have a chance to visit famous Nanjing Road among crowds. Proceed to the famous Shanghai Museum, its rich and high-quality collection of ancient Chinese bronze, ceramics, painting and calligraphy is specially celebrated in the world. Afterwards, visit the 400-year old Yu Yuan Garden. This evening you'll enjoy an amazing Acrobatic Show. (B/L/D)
