This morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, the most holy of Beijing's Imperial temples. This is where the Emperor came every winter solstice to worship heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest. After breakfast, visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, one of the most significant archeological finds of the 20th century. This morning, you will visit the Great Mosque, the largest and best preserved of the early mosques of China. This morning, transfer to Suzhou, visit the Humble Administrator's Garden, the largest classical garden in Suzhou and one of the four most famous ones in China. Originally built in 1513 AD, the garden is typical example of the art of horticulture south of the Changjiang River. Then visit the No1 Silk Factory, where you will see closely the different procedures before the silk is created. After lunch, you will visit Water Village of Tongli, which has a history spanning well over 1,000 years. Back to Shanghai in the late afternoon. (B/L/D)
